Halloween

(October 2017)

The older the kids get the more exciting each holiday is.
Doing fun crafts as we wait for the big day is so much fun.

A couple of crafts we did this year were:
Paint Pumpkins

Which turned into painting class with dad.

We painted Frankenstein faces.

We got to make slime with Adele.

We made marshmallow ghosts with the Frys.

But Andie and Hollis just wanted to shove their faces into the marshmallow pile (do you blame them?)

Finally when the Halloween festivities came the kids were MORE than ready.
Especially Miles!
He had in his mind he wanted to be a vampire thee entire month but we didn't buy any costume yet because like every kid....they change their mind.
And he did!
He decided he wanted to be a skeleton.

He loved getting his face painted and thought he looked AWESOME.

Before we were loading up for our churches Trunk or Treat I wanted to take a picture of our cute skeleton and owl.
We took one picture and Miles was smiling super big so we told him
"don't smile, skeletons don't smile"
It was so hard for him, and this is best he could do, and I love it!

I stayed back in the trunk to pass out our goodies and Romney took to the kids around.
They had a blast and I loved hearing all about it when they returned.

On the acutal day of Halloween, Miles was in full character.
He got it!
He didn't want both eyes painted black this time, just one.
And as soon as the Owl costume came out Andie knew it meant
TRICK OR TREAT!
which meant.....candy!!!!!
She was more than willing to get dressed!

We went trick or treating with the Tangs and the kids ran house to house!
The boys ran ahead and the little girls stayed close with us.
Andie would sometimes run INTO the peoples houses when they opened the door but HEY,
she was sure to say THANK YOU to each person.
So, it's fine.
We went back to the Tangs for a quick candy inventory, eat a few pieces and then we needed to go home.
We had school the next day.

But, we couldnt go home just yet.
Our neighbor across the street waits for us to get home every year to give the kids a treat.
So we walk over for our LAST trick or treat of the year....
it's just kind of tradition.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN MY DARLINGS.
