Texas Trip Part III

After the wedding festivities we went back to my brothers house for the week.

Lane was held nonstop by someone!
Tammy couldn't get enough!

He was loved on all week!

We  stayed up late playing games hysterically laughing having thee best time together.

We hung out.

We swam in their super fun pool..

And the kids LOVED their super fun diving board!

I didn't see much of Miles this round.
The older he gets the less and less I see him on these trips.
He is off with his cousins having so much fun!
I am so happy he is building those relationships but sometimes when he is running by
I snag him- hug him- and say hello.
But he and Beckett boy are little buddies and are only 16 months apart but their size kills me.
It's hilarious.

Another highlight of Texas was seeing my childhood best friend, Lacy.
She and I met in the 7th grade and have been friends ever since.
Her husband is working on his MBA in Texas and she drove a few hours to Byrons house to visit.
It was so great to see her.

It was great to catch up.

It was so great for our kids to see each other again.
It was great for us to see each other again.
Her husband finishes up this summer and were all hoping he lands a job in the west somewhere.
Fingers Crossed.

Once we said our good byes to Lacy and her family, it was time for us to get to the airport.
Our time was over.
We were sad to leave.
Miles mastered the hover board while we were there and he did NOT want to give that up.
He literally rode that thing til the last second.

We were late getting to the airport and Lane was screaming--he was so ready to eat.
We didn't have an extra minute to stop to feed him
SO we had Andie get in the stroller with him and feed Lane while we literally ran to our gate.
We were the last people to board the plane causing people to move seats so we could sit with our kids.
We were embarrassed, but there are kind people out there.

Once we landed all three kids were OUT.
Booking a late flight sounded like a good idea but we didn't think about getting all three sleeping kids OFF the plane.... but somehow Romney manages to do it all.

It was an awesome trip.
We loved every second of everyday spending time with family and friends.
We came home exhausted but our hearts were full.

(we can't wait for our next family reunion which will be next summer in Boston...unless someone else decides to get married)
