Yay for firemen!! I love them
especially for the last couple of days with
California burning !!
Yay for
my fireman who I haven't seen since Wednesday night. (frowny face)
Romney is not out on the fires personally. They did not send his rig out. But because they have sent out 5 or 6 rigs from his department he has to hold over. I think
every firefighter is working right now. And we love them for it!!!!

Tell Romney, THANK YOU from all of us! Our house almost burned down about 15 years ago and the ONLY THING that saved it was... our local Firemen! They are truly amazing! The last time I lived in Cali, the Big Bear mountains were on FIRE! So many people evacuated and sooo many acres burned! Luckily, not too many houses but, still one house is too many for that family! I was working at The Historic Mission Inn Hotel and all of the less expensive hotels were booked solid (through to Santa Barbara). The Hotel manager allowed the remaining firemen (about 200) to stay there for wether next to nothing OR literally nothing. He also comped each fireman with a meal. How grateful I was to get to know some of those AMAZING men and be humbled by their great SACRAFICE and DEDICATION!!! I will NEVER forget them! Thanks again, Romney!
We love Firemen too!! Sorry that you haven't seen him since Wednesday. That stinks. But, everyone is thankful for those selected people that protect us and put our lives in front of theirs. We'll keep Cali in our prayers and keep sendin' smoke signals up for Rom too.
Love the George Strait too!
Yay for fireman!!! My brother is one up in Ventura and I believe he is either out fighting or holding the station down for the fires up there. It was good to see you at the mtg. last week!
Don't you just love those guys, and they are just so stinkin hot in those uniforms on top of it all! I can't wait till my man is on full time! Good job Rom!
your married to one of californias finest! i've always wanted to say that about someone and now i did. what a hero. seriously though - way to go ronny. hope the fires stop soon. i have been watching it on the news and it is pretty crazy.
THanks Romney for all your hard work! And thank you Erin for being supportive as he does it . . . you are a trooper!
Amen Erin! Shane's dad was a Forest fire fighter for years and years and years. He'd travel all around the country every summer for weeks on end fighting fires. He had many close calls. Fire fighters are so very brave! (understatement) and thanks for reminding us!
um...are you safe in your house? i'm worried about you AND your cute husband.
and really, when do you think we'll get together??!
Go Romney! GO you Erin for being so supportive! I hope you don't have too many more lonely nights.
