NOT MUCH!

Well I'm not sure where February went but I'm so sorry I have not updated the blog. You'd think not posting for a month would mean that we've done a ton....WRONG. However something did get done. I was able to paint one of the ugly bathrooms this past week while Romney was working a 72 hour shift....(I hate those). But I thought I'd surprise him and get it done. Yeah he was surprised!!! But we do have HUGE plans starting on Monday in the Kitchen. We are so excited to get that finished. We never knew how frustrating it could be to be without a kitchen. Think about it- a sink, running water, a dishwasher, no cupboards, NO FOOD....I am going crazy!!!

One last look at this BEAUTIFUL BATHROOM!!

Childrens Mural is GONE!!! I painted the bathroom. Its darker than I thought but I like it. Apparently I'm into the greens right now. I got a lot of that goin on in the house. I didn't plan that! It still needs a lot of love but at least the first step is completed!

Well our kitchen construction zone is coming to an end...finally! We are finishing it this up coming week. And with that I need a new paint color. The one I picked out and put up looks TOO YELLOW! I want something light and clean. I want the "butter" look but I'm not doing so well. But these are the final colors we cant decide on. The white will be the cupboard and the black is the counter top. Any favorites?

Looking GREAT! Good work on the bathroom! I like the color! Wish I were there to help with the kitchen color! That sounds fun! Anyway, How fun it will be to get your stuff out of storage when you are all done with these projects! Ahhh, just sit back and admire all your hard work! Love you!

Hey there cousin, I found you through Ali's blog which I found through Kirsten. Anyway, so good to see your cute face and new house craziness. Kyle and I remodeled the house we are living in now 2 years ago. We're waiting for our building permit to start on our dream house in the next few months. Anyway, the wallpaper mess, paint color choices, cabinet madness, and granite tiles all look familiar...way to go. Your hard work is paying off..it looks great! Have a great weekend, say hi to Romney and your folks!

Cousin Erin-so impressed with your diy go-for-it-ness (sure, that can be a word??)!! I also dig the greens and who doesn't love a lovely butter yellow! I do like to paint, but I want to have it all done in about 45 minutes or so and it always takes longer than that to paint a room, oh well...
Good luck with a totally productive weekend!!

Is Lacy talking about the color in the last Pottery Barn Catalog? It is a good one...I actually called Rebecca about it because she is looking for a pale yellow for her bedroom. I second the motion to check it out.

Love the bathroom, but the beach scene will be missed.
