A weekend in Seattle

(September 6-9, 2019)

A quick fun weekend away with our friends?
Yes please.

We hit up Seattle and it was GORGEOUS, and HILARIOUS, and DELICIOUS.

We went on several hikes
and saw every shade of green.

We crammed in the car....

We went to the sand bar.
We skipped rocks (well I tried anyway), balanced on logs, attempted yoga poses and even played don't step on the sand while hopping from log to log.
(curious what Romney would look like with a long comb over? me too)

We played in the city and tasted our way through.

We went on top of the space needle and watched the sunset!

We found gum alley and it was DISGUSTING!....
but when in Seattle.

We also went to Chihuly museum.
It was amazing.
It is all blown glass and the colors were so so fun.

 Another check off the bucketlist.

Happy Birthday Andie

August 17, 2019

 Happy Birthday Andie girl!
The girl is four today and couldn't be more excited.
If you personally know Andie then your heart has truly felt and heard and seen joy!
Her never stop moving body is happy.
She litterally jumps for joy.
She giggles and claps at all things FUN.
She has a sweet little imagination and I love watching her play with her play with all of her toys.
She is very independent with independent opinions.
You do NOT mess with her vision!
She is a foodie and will try almost anything.
Her love for rice and tika masala runs deep.
She loves swimming and being outside.
She loves going on hikes and camping.
She loves Disneyland and is adamit that she scans her own ticket!!
She has a sweet tooth like no other and can be found sneaking treats from time to time.
She loves books and is really getting into cute kiddy music.
It is so fun to hear her singing "down by the bay, where the watermelon grows..." and "the bear went over the mountain, the bear went over the mountain"
She has a very BUSY personality with BIG emotions BUT she will continue to make the world go round and she will continue to do awesome things with these gifts.
She has brought so much life into our family and we lover her so much.
Happy BirthdayAndie Girl!!!

First day of school

(August 8, 2019)

First day of School for Miles boy.
The SECOND GRADE!
His adult teeth are starting to come in finally and I already miss his toothless smile.

He was anxious to start another year, with a new teacher but he is going to do great!!

(August 13, 2019)
Andie girl had her first day of preschool.
We love her teacher Ms Cara and cant wait to see all she learns this year.
She walked in and never looked back.
She got right to work with playdough making heart shape cookies for her teacher.

Goodbye East Coast

July 2019

Our kids have had the best summer.
They loved being back East at my sisters farm house.
They played hard.

Andie loved it so much she gave herself some bangs while we were in NYC.

We enjoyed walking around their property - it really is so lovely.

They are going to miss having a buddy to play with everyday.

Goodbye, we love you so much!

New York!!

(July 2019)

Since we were on the other side of the United States we thought we'd take advantage of it and go to New York for the weekend.

My sister agreed to take the kids for us and we took off!
It was our first time to the Big Apple and it did not disappoint.

We crammed as much as we could in such a short time.
We found the Manhattan Temple.
The busiest street and lady liberty.
The Statue of Liberty was glorious.
I absolutely loved her.
We took a boat out to it and to Ellis Island and really enjoyed our time there.
We gained a huge appreciation for all those who were trying to get to America for a better life.
Somehow we managed to find our super good friends-the Williamsons.
We rented bikes and rode around central park and explored all there is to do there.
We went to Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway...we were all disappointed with it.
We liked the music but could have done without the cussing every 10 seconds.
We went to the 9/11 memorial and the museum and could NOT believe what we witnessed.
It was the emotional highlight of this trip.
It was so beautifully done and so reverent.
We went down under the monument where we spent a lot of time.
I would recommend this museum to everyone who goes to NYC.
One rainy morning we went to the live taping with LIVE with Kelly and Ryan.
It was a tiny studio, but it was fun to see how it all works.
Our weekend was short!
But it was so fun!
We need to come again so we can be sure we liked the pizza!
Now back to Boston to get our babies!

Family reunion VI

(July 2019)

The last night together.
We got a babysitter for Lane and Andie and the rest of us set out for a Red Sox game in Boston.
The weather was gorgeous and the stadium was packed!

The Sunset was beautiful.

The cotton Candy was sweet

The cheering section was loud

The Kids were darling

The company was great
We had a blast!
(It was fun to doing a side by side from the last game we went to. Oh how we have all grown)

This really was such a FUN family reunion.
Our souls needed it.
We all left so happy we got to do this and so greatful we all made it happen.
Til next time guys.
We love you all

Family Reunion Part V

(July 2019)

We started the afternoon eating lunch in Concord.

While Lane explored his cousins yard we planned for a super fun adventure of canoeing down to the Concord/Lexington Bridge.

Grandma took Lane in the car and the rest of us hopped into canoes and made our way to the "shot heard around the world"

We all huddled up and listened while we honored the farmers who were ready to help establish America!

That night was our talent show and lip sync battle.
There was so much joy and love.

There were hugs

There were songs sung
(Andie singing twinkle twinkle little star was a high light)

There was dancing

There were props

There were tears.
We just love our family so much and are having thee best time together.
